Lancelin is an unspoiled oasis, just an hour and a half drive north of Perth. It is equally appealing to the Alpha male as it is to the romantic. There is a desolate beauty to the ever-changing landscape of Lancelin. Nature lovers have plenty to feed their passion in a precinct of unique landforms and abundant wildlife. The sand dunes, 100% pure white sand whipped up by the onslaught of the Roaring Forties, are the largest in the state. Apart from their stunning beauty, the two kilometre long dunes are a playground for four wheel drives, dirt bikes, dune buggies, 4- wheelers and sandboards.

Often you will see dolphins, swimming in the shallow waters by the jetty feeding on the local fare. Lancelin and Edward Islands are home to a colony of gulls which migrate there to nest each year. They are also home to seal lions, including a very friendly character that has become a local celebrity.
